Wellness Script (Rx) Forum
The Office of Health & Wellness, in partnership with UCI Health, invites community members to a free educational lecture series focused on practical, everyday health topics. Sessions provide practical guidance on prevention, treatment, and healthy lifestyle choices for all stages of life. Future topics include managing allergies, men’s health, healthy aging, and managing cough, cold, and flu. Each session offers guidance on prevention, treatment options, and when to seek medical care while encouraging healthy lifestyle choices and connection to community resources.

Monthly Free Grocery Food Box Distribution
The City of Irvine, in collaboration with Community Action Partnership of Orange County, is offering The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). Eligible residents will receive a box of food weighing approximately 30 pounds once a month. The box contains a variety of dried beans, fresh produce, canned and frozen vegetables, fruit/vegetable juice, meat (when available), poultry, fish, nuts, milk, cheese, rice, cereal, and pasta.
Food boxes will be distributed in the order of arrival while supplies last. Pickups are on the second Thursday of every month between 9 a.m. and noon.

Health Care Wishes
Notarize Your Advanced Health Care Directive
The Office of Health & Wellness, in partnership with UCI Health, offers free notary public services to assist individuals 18 and older in formalizing an Advanced Health Care Directive. An Advanced Health Care Directive allows individuals to identify their legal healthcare agent and communicate their healthcare wishes clearly to their medical team and their loved ones. A licensed clinical social worker will also be available to provide information and answer any questions.
Please note: Notary services are limited to Advanced Health Care Directive documents only.
Appointments are 30 minutes long and are held on the second Tuesday of the month between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and the fourth Tuesday of the month from noon to 3:30 p.m.
Please bring a valid form of identification (driver’s license or passport) and a completed Advanced Health Care Directive form to your appointment.

The Office of Health and Wellness, in partnership with Community Health Initiative of Orange County, provides free one-on-one assistance to review eligibility for CalFresh, CalWORKs, Covered California, General Relief, Kaiser Community Care Program and Medi-Cal. We provide resource referrals, personalized case management, and information at no cost to help individuals and families navigate available health and social service programs.

Weatherization and Utility Assistance Workshop

The City of Irvine, in collaboration with Community Action Partnership of Orange County, is hosting a free Weatherization and Utility Assistance Workshop to provide practical ways to make your home more energy efficient. The workshop will also include information on programs that can help lower or even pay for essential utility costs.
