On April 20th, in honor of Earth Week, The City of Irvine hosted a “Drive Electric Earth Day” webinar providing an overview of electric vehicles (EV) including the benefits of ownership, charging options, and available incentives. The webinar was held from noon to 1 p.m.
Participants heard from two local EV owners on their decision to go electric and their experience thus far, as well as hear from City staff and a representative from Southern California Edison. There was also be a 20-minute question and answer session where participants will have the opportunity to engage with the panelists in demystifying electric vehicles. All webinar participants were entered into a raffle to win several Earth Day-themed raffle prizes, which was awarded at the conclusion of the webinar.
