An exciting update is coming! The City of Irvine will begin using Workday for all job opportunities on July 4, 2026.
What to expect beginning July 4, 2026:
- New opportunities will continue to be viewable on GovernmentJobs and will link to a new external career site through Workday.
- To apply for the first time on the new career page, you will be prompted to create an account. Provide yourself extra time for account creation and to apply.
- Active job interest card subscriptions through GovernmentJobs will continue to send notifications based on your subscription period. You are encouraged to register for notifications via Job Alerts on our new career page.
Should you need to refer to past applications submitted through GovernmentJobs, visit governmentjobs.com (Open in new window) and sign in.
Current Employees
Beginning July 4, you will use the Workday Internal Jobs Hub to view and apply to opportunities.
Do not use the external career site to apply.
