From rolling amber hills to majestic purple sunsets, you can find new frontiers — right in your own backyard. Presented by Hoag, the City of Irvine Park & Recreation Field Guide serves as your map to explore Irvine’s awardwinning parks (Open in new window), facilities, and libraries.
From winding trails and neighborhood parks to art galleries, community centers, and family-friendly attractions, every destination offers something new to discover under beautiful, spacious skies.
Complete Challenges. Collect stamps. Earn prizes.
Visit one of the participating park, library, or community center locations and complete the activity challenge to earn a stamp for your City of Irvine Park & Recreation Field Guide. There are also special challenges to help you earn stamps.
Complete at least one activity to earn a stamp from each location. Please visit the community center staff attendant to receive your stamp.
- Start your adventure at one of our three Irvine Public Library Branches (Open in new window) and pick up your City of Irvine Park & Recreation Field Guide.
- Collect six stamps and earn a prize.
- Collect 12 stamps and receive an exclusive 2026 Park & Recreation Month America 250 collectible enamel pin.
- Prizes can be picked up at the Irvine City Hall front desk, while supplies last.
The fun begins July 1!
