Join us at the Farm + Food Lab for our new Nutrition in the Lab series, where Frida Hovik shares how farming, processing, and food choices can have meaningful impacts on nutrition and health. Hovik is a graduate student at USC studying nutrition, health-span, and longevity. She has a background in nutrition counseling, diabetes and obesity prevention.

Teens will gain an understanding of basic concepts of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's MyPlate stystem, and how it can be used as a tool for healthful and balance eating. ​
