Students can join the Youth Action Team (YAT) Club at their high school by registering online at yourirvine.org. Club meetings are during lunch and are held twice a month. Students attending Private, Online, or High Schools outside of Irvine can join the Virtual High School Youth Action Team (HSYAT) Club.   

Registered students will receive:

  • Access to over 500 volunteer opportunities each year.
  • Access to bi-monthly speakers on teen issues and topics.
  • Free admission to all HSYAT social events.
  • Volunteer T-shirt.
  • City of Irvine Service Award (must complete required annual number of hours by age and accrue all hours with HSYAT).

  • Portola High School: Alternating Tuesdays in Lower 700’s Student Commons
