Introducing the SORT Squad
The SORT Squad is a team of sustainability hero characters representing simple actions that everyone in Irvine can take to help protect our environment and conserve resources, whether this is at home, at school, or in the community. Each character focuses on a different part of sustainability (solar energy, composting, recycling, or proper waste disposal), but together they show how these actions together will create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable Irvine. Small actions can make a big difference when we all work together.
Every Hero Has a Part to Play!
The SORT Squad is ready to help Irvine make a difference, one small action at a time! From harnessing the power of the sun to composting food scraps, recycling right, and keeping trash where it belongs, we can all do our part to create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable Irvine.
Together, our everyday actions can make a super-sized difference. Are you ready to join the SORT Squad? Let’s SORT it out!
