Business Preparedness Series: Emergency Response & Fire Safety Workshop

The City’s Office of Emergency Management is widely recognized for its Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program, an eight-course, hands-on training series that builds readiness, safety, and community resilience skills for Irvine residents. As part of this series, the Office of Emergency Management and the Orange County Fire Authority have developed a CERT-inspired workshop specifically tailored for businesses.
This hands-on session focuses on the practical aspects of workplace emergency preparedness, helping businesses strengthen emergency response plans, improve employee safety, and better prepare for fire, natural disasters, and other unexpected disruptions. Attendees will gain actionable strategies to support business continuity, protect operations, and enhance resilience in the face of emergencies.

SBDC Small Business Clinic
Wednesday, August 12 | Select time slots between 5 and 8 p.m.
Quail Hill Community Center
The City is hosting a Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Small Business Clinic, where business owners will get the opportunity to connect with an SBDC consultant at no cost for a 30-minute one-on-one meeting and receive answers to their immediate needs pertaining to marketing, operations, financial assessment, and more.
This is an in-person event. Appointments are limited; one ticket per business.
