City Seeks Volunteers to Assist Older Adults

IRVINE, CA (July 30, 2015) The City of Irvine is seeking individuals interested in enriching the lives of older adults by volunteering to become a Community Helper Assisting Mature Persons in Our Neighborhoods (CHAMPION). CHAMPION volunteers work to provide assistance to Irvine’s isolated seniors by acquainting them with community services and engaging in home visitation and telephone calls to increase socialization.

IRVINE, CA (July 30, 2015):  A survey seeking input on traffic conditions and transportation systems in the City of Irvine was launched today. Residents and commuters to the City are invited to provide their input on what works well, what areas might need improvement and what the City’s transportation priorities should be moving forward.

Irvine to Conduct Traffic Workshops

IRVINE, CA (July 27, 2015):  The first of three community meetings on traffic flow in the City of Irvine is set for Thursday, July 30, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Irvine Civic Center, 1 Civic Center Plaza. The workshops are part of a comprehensive study to review and analyze traffic conditions and transportation programs in the City. The information gathered will be used to form recommendations that could help shape the future direction of transportation in Irvine.
