The Irvine Animal Care Center is excited to be participating in the NBC4 and Telemundo52 adoption promotion, Clear the Shelters on Saturday, August 15, 2015. During this event, the Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. All adoptions will be $20.
IRVINE, CA (August 3, 2015): Join the growing number of volunteers signing on to assist with the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon, to be held at the Orange County Great Park on October 8-11 and October 15-18. Volunteers are needed to serve as docents, greeters, visitor liaisons, Education Day mentors and more. Some 64,000 guests visited the Great Park in 2013, the last year in which the competition was held, underscoring the need for a strong volunteer force to ensure a successful event.

IRVINE, CA (July 30, 2015) The City of Irvine is seeking individuals interested in enriching the lives of older adults by volunteering to become a Community Helper Assisting Mature Persons in Our Neighborhoods (CHAMPION). CHAMPION volunteers work to provide assistance to Irvine’s isolated seniors by acquainting them with community services and engaging in home visitation and telephone calls to increase socialization.
