Irvine Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect

in Irvine and produced a note demanding cash from an individual teller’s drawer.  The man did not speak during the robbery.  After receiving cash from the teller, he placed it in a plastic grocery bag and left.  He was last seen on foot by witnesses but may be associated with a silver truck.

Suspect Arrested For Doorstep Package Thefts

IRVINE, CA – A suspect has been arrested for committing a series of package thefts from the doorsteps of homes in Irvine. Anthony Palusso, 30, was arrested April 22, 2015, for misdemeanor petty theft and possession of stolen property.

Irvine Police Department to Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint

IRVINE, CA – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) will conduct a sobriety checkpoint as part of the department’s continued commitment to reducing injury and deaths and raising awareness about the dangers caused by alcohol and drug-impaired drivers. April is Earthquake Preparedness Month

IRVINE, CA – April is Earthquake Preparedness Month, and the Irvine Police Department (IPD) would like to share some important steps with residents and businesses that can be helpful in protecting family members and employees in an emergency.

To ensure that immediate needs are met following a disaster, assemble a supply kit with enough provisions to last three to five days. Supplies can include food, water, and medicine. Residents should tailor their supply kit based on specific family needs, such as including extra eyeglasses or food and medicine for pets.

Community Invited to Provide Feedback on Parks and Facilities for Master Plan

IRVINE, CA (March 19, 2015): The City of Irvine is updating the Parks and Facilities Master Plan, which will help guide future development and operation of City parks and recreational facilities.

The City is seeking community input to identify public park and recreation needs and to understand whether there are any changes that may be made to enhance visitors’ park experience. Once completed, the Master Plan will provide a framework for future projects and upgrades to new and existing parks and facilities over the next ten years.
