The City of Irvine Extends Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center Lease

The City of Irvine extended the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center lease with OC Waste & Recycling to December 31, 2027. The facility will remain open at the current location while a new permanent site is identified.

The collection center will continue to be open Tuesday–Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and closed on rainy days and holidays. If you need to contact the collection center, call 714-834-4000. Please note that proof of Orange County residency is required to drop off items at the collection center.
