Participants will also explore the importance of social connection, emotional well-being, and available community resources to support healthy, active aging.

Join us for Fiesta Latina en Irvine at the Great Park! Enjoy lively lotería games, colorful calavera makeup demonstrations, music, art, and delicious food –– celebrating the traditions and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. This free, family-friendly event includes education, entertainment, crafts, vendors, food trucks, and more. Join us for the annual Variety Show. Delight in an afternoon of theatrical entertainment with a variety of acts including singing, dancing, comedic skits, and more. Variety Show will take place on Thursday, August 13, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at Lakeview Senior Center.

Join the Irvine Police Department for National Night Out, an event that brings neighbors and public safety together for a safer and stronger community.

Meet Irvine Police officers and Orange County firefighters, see the police and fire vehicles and equipment, and take part in activities. There will also be food trucks, community booths, and giveaways. 

The Great Park is located at 8000 Great Park Blvd. Free parking is available in Lot 2. 

The Irvine Annual juried exhibition showcases artworks from regional and local artists ages 18 and older who work across multiple visual artistic mediums. The Irvine Annual exhibition will be held at the Irvine Fine Arts Center July 11–September 5 with a free opening reception from 2 to 4 p.m.

Kick off summer in the pool with the Irvine Super Swim lesson. Adults and children of all swimming abilities are invited to participate in Irvine's largest group swim lesson in an effort to raise awareness for drowning prevention.

Arrive at 5:30 p.m. for check-in, with lessons starting at 6 p.m., then stay for a recreation swim that includes a water slide, giant inflatable, diving boards, and activities. At dusk, enjoy Shark Tale on the big screen. Lifeguards will be on duty.

Ages 3 and older; children aged 6 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
