The City of Irvine invites families to get in the Halloween spirit at Monster Splash, a frightfully fun event Saturday, October 24, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center.
Guests can enjoy trick-or-treating around the pool decks, Halloween-inspired face painting, recreational swimming, and a spooky inflatable obstacle course. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.
The event also features the City’s Floatie Exchange (Open in new window) program. Families can bring arm floaties or other non-approved flotation devices and exchange them for a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket for children ages 6 and younger, while supplies last. This program supports the City’s ongoing efforts to promote water safety.
Presale tickets for Monster Splash are available through October 18 and are $12 for children ages 17 and younger. Tickets are $15 at the door. Adults are free. Get your tickets today at yourirvine.org (Open in new window). Lifeguards will be on duty; children 6 and younger must be accompanied by an adult in the water — one adult per child under 6 years of age.
William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center is located at 4601 Walnut Ave., Irvine. For more information, call 949-724-6717 or visit cityofirvine.gov/aquatics.
