IRVINE, CA (September 2, 2015): City Manager Sean Joyce has appointed a new Director of Community Services. Laurie Hoffman begins work in Irvine on September 28.

IRVINE, CA (Sept. 1, 2015): The City of Irvine is accepting applications for two member-at-large positions on the Irvine Senior Citizens Council. The Senior Citizens Council acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council on matters related to older adults, including the planning of facilities, transportation, services and programs, as well as the City’s Senior Strategic Plan. The Senior Citizens Council consists of seven members: Five are appointed by the City Council, while two member-at-large positions are selected through a public recruitment process.

IRVINE, CA (Aug. 28, 2015): “Finding Peace Amid Holiday Chaos” will be the discussion presented by keynote speaker Tanya Brown at the 34^th Annual Irvine Community Thanksgiving Prayer Breakfast, to be held November 19 at the Irvine Marriot Hotel. Tickets for the 7:30 a.m. breakfast, presented by the City of Irvine, the Irvine Chamber of Commerce and the National Exchange Club, are $45; proceeds benefit the Child Abuse Prevention Center.

IRVINE, CA (Aug. 28, 2015):  A survey seeking input on traffic conditions and transportation systems in the City of Irvine concludes Thursday, Sept. 3. Residents and commuters to the City are invited to provide their input on what works well, what areas might need improvement and what the City’s transportation priorities should be moving forward.
