Irvine, CA (Oct. 20, 2015) – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) is seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect involved in a theft from a vehicle.
The suspect is described as male, possibly Caucasian, 30 to 40 years old, with brown hair, brown eyes, and a large moustache down to his chin. At the time of the incident he was wearing black-framed glasses, a red polo shirt with a “UCI” logo on the left chest, and jeans. He was driving a 2004 to 2006 model white Dodge Stratus with no license plates and collision damage on the left front bumper.

IRVINE, CA (Oct. 16, 2015): The overall winner of the Solar Decathlon 2015 will be announced at a Final Awards Ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 9:45 a.m. at the Orange County Great Park’s Hangar 244. U.S. Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy David Danielson will be the keynote speaker. Irvine Mayor Steven Choi will also speak at the ceremony. Members of the public are invited to attend.
Irvine, CA (Oct. 8, 2015): A man has been arrested for spraying graffiti in an Irvine park on several occasions. Mason Kennedy Modde, 19, was arrested for vandalism and possession of graffiti tools.
Over the course of two and a half months, there were approximately 10 incidents of graffiti in Turtle Rock Park. The vandalism was often in the flood channel and on dumpsters in the parking lot, and generated complaints and concern from residents and community members.
Irvine, CA (Oct. 6, 2016): The Irvine Police Department (IPD) arrested two men for fraudulently accessing ATMs to steal money after watching victims use their personal identification numbers (PINs). Cleo Charles Nash, 36, and Jahmal Theodis Winston, 28, both of San Francisco, are being held on $100,000 bail for felony and misdemeanor theft-related charges.
IRVINE, CA (Oct. 15, 2015): The Irvine Fine Arts Center will host its 33rd annual Holiday Faire on Friday, November 6 from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday, November 7 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Center. Talented Orange County artists will sell unique handmade gifts for purchase, including holiday decorations, hand-blown glass, ceramics, jewelry, folk crafts, clothing and more.
IRVINE, CA (October 14, 2015): The City of Irvine is in the process of updating its Parks and Park Facilities Master Plan, which will provide the framework for potential upgrades to existing parks and the development of new parks over the next 10 years. As part of this effort, the public is invited to a community workshop Thursday, October 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Irvine Civic Center, 1 Civic Center Plaza.
