Mayor Donald P. Wagner on February 28 delivered his State of the City Address at the Irvine Civic Center. Topics included traffic improvements; homelessness; the City’s two-year budget; and continued development of the 688 acres at the Orange County Great Park.
He also spoke to the unmatched quality of life in Irvine, highlighting the City’s reputation as one of the nation’s safest communities, the City Council’s continued financial support of Irvine’s public schools, and the vibrant business community.
“People want to make Irvine their home because of our quality of life,” he told a capacity crowd in the Council Chamber.
