Two people have been arrested after the death of multiple dogs

Irvine, Calif. (June 20, 2025) – On Thursday, Detectives arrested an animal trainer and his girlfriend after ten dogs in his care died.

Review the Urban Forest Master Plan

The City is developing a 30-year Urban Forest Master Plan (UFMP), which contains measurable goals and recommended actions to help the City achieve 30% canopy cover and realize our ideal urban forest by 2055. 

The 30-day public comment period for the master plan is now closed. The master plan is available to view online.
