On Monday, October 26, a vegetation fire began in the area of Santiago Canyon Road and Silverado Canyon Road. The Silverado Fire has engulfed approximately 11,199 acres and is 5% contained. Evacuation Orders remain in place; care and reception facilities are available. Evacuation Map

City of Irvine Issues Mandatory Evacuations

Proclamation of a Local Emergency due to the Silverado Fire

Today at 6:47 a.m., a vegetation fire began in the area of Santiago Canyon Road and Silverado Canyon Road. OCFA firefighters were on scene of a 10 acre fire, wind driven with a moderate rate of spread. Crews are aggressively attacking the fire with ground crew battling the flames. Air craft support has been grounded due to the windy conditions. Additionally, The 241 is closed from Santiago to the 133.

Irvine Station Connects… is a City effort to understand the needs for multi-modal access to and from the Irvine Station to enhance connectivity for pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users of all types within a 1-mile buffer of the Irvine Station.
