The City of Irvine has been voted “Best City to Live in” for the fourth consecutive year by The Orange County Register readers.
“As Mayor, I am often asked what makes Irvine special,” said Christina Shea, Mayor of the City of Irvine. The Orange County Register readers confirmed what we already know; Irvine is the best city to live in. Our public safety, our schools, our parks and trails, our exciting and diverse dining, shopping, and sports facilities all provide an unmatched quality of life.”
The Irvine Police Department (IPD) will conduct a sobriety checkpoint as part of the Department’s continued commitment to reducing injuries and deaths caused by impaired drivers. The checkpoint will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 21, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the area of Culver Drive and Campus Drive.
City Hall is closed Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in recognition of the winter holidays.
