Pair Arrested After Theft From Vehicle

Irvine, Calif. – The Irvine Police Department has apprehended two suspects after a resident witnessed them breaking into his car. Mohamad Jamal Elmasri, 19, of Irvine was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 11, following the theft on Fremont Street in Irvine. Omar Elnaggar, 22, of Irvine was detained a short time later.

Man arrested for unlawful sex with a minor

Irvine, Calif. – The Irvine Police Department has arrested a University High School walk-on men’s water polo coach for unlawful sex with a minor. The victim is a female student at University High.

 

The suspect, Coleman Pickell, 23, was arrested off campus at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, and will be booked at the Orange County Jail.

The community is invited to attend the City of Irvine's 45th Anniversary Photo Exhibition and Film Night on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. The event will feature award-winning images from the community-wide photo contest along with an exclusive screening of short films created by Irvine high school students. Vehicle Burglar Arrested

Irvine, CA – Today at approximately 5:22 p.m. Irvine Police Officers arrested 33 year-old Los Angeles resident Aaron Patterson for vehicle burglary.
