The City of Irvine, Community Services Department is responsible for managing the Facility Reservation process, and reservations are accepted and processed on a calendar-year basis.  The following information is to provide notice that the City will begin accepting 2021 facility reservation applications in August 2020, with dates determined by the City's Community Facilities Reservation Policy.

To help stem the tide of COVID-19 and safeguard Irvine first responders, residents and workers, FivePoint Holdings, LLC has donated 1 million face masks to the City of Irvine in its continuing effort to provide critical resources where needed most in the region.

The City of Irvine Rental Assistance Program application period is now closed.  A lottery will be conducted during the week of July 27, where selected participants will then be reviewed for eligibility criteria requirements.

Join Mayor Christina L. Shea and Councilmember Anthony Kuo on Thursday, July 30 at 5:15 for a Virtual Town Hall Meeting with IUSD Board members, Ira Glasky and Lauren Brooks to provide updates about the City of Irvine and Irvine Unified School District and the impacts of COVID-19. 

At the direction of the Irvine City Council, this past week COVID-19 testing capacity at the Great Park was expanded. The expanded testing capacity will continue into weeks three and four, and registration will reopen on Friday, July 24 at 12 p.m. to fill additional appointments available through this expansion.

Testing is available for individuals who live or work in Irvine, regardless of whether they are symptomatic or asymptomatic. Only PCR testing, which determines if someone currently has the SARS-CoV-2 virus, is available.
