Federally Funded Residential Energy & Electrification Rebates
The California Energy Commission (CEC) has announced that applications are now open for the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEEHRA) program - consisting of energy rebates for residential upgrades. The program is now accepting applications for multifamily building owners to make their properties more energy efficient by installing heat pumps and other electric appliances. Single-family homeowners will be able to apply within the next few weeks, for rebates to upgrade their homes with clean energy technologies.
These programs will help make California homes more comfortable, energy-efficient, cost-efficient, and climate-friendly while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
