Irvine, Calif. (February 20, 2025) – A man has died after being involved in a traffic collision.
Today, at 3:34 p.m., the Irvine Police Department (IPD) received reports of a traffic collision at the intersection of Campus Drive and Turtle Rock Drive.
Irvine, Calif. (February 20, 2025) – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) will conduct a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Driver’s License checkpoint as part of the Department’s continued commitment to reducing injuries and deaths caused by impaired drivers. The checkpoint will be conducted on Saturday, February 22, from 7:00 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the area of Culver Drive and Trabuco Road.
As part of the City’s ongoing promotion of our environmental programs and sustainability goals, the Sustainability Division will be hosting an Induction Cooking Workshop and Demonstration. The event will span for one and a half hours and will feature local award-winning chef Katie Chin who will demonstrate how to make various ethnically diverse dishes on an all-electric induction cooktop, as well as discuss the benefits of switching from gas range to all-electric.
Learn about electric energy-efficient equipment, lawn equipment, and water rebates available to residents and learn how easy it is to apply and save money. Representatives from partner agencies will be available to answer questions.
