Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris Secure $2 Million in Funding for City of Irvine's Real Time Crime Center

Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris recently secured $2 million in funding for the City of Irvine to develop a Real Time Crime Center (RTCC). This will further enable officers, crime analysts, and dispatchers to gather and communicate critical information and effectively capitalize on the expanding range of technologies that increase the apprehension of offenders, prevent crime, promote sustainability, and improve officer safety.

City of Irvine Confirms All American Asphalt Plant Ceased Production

During a special City Council meeting on April 11, 2023, the Irvine City Council approved an agreement to purchase and decommission the All American Asphalt plant and create the Gateway Preserve, a nearly 700-acre open space preserve located in the hills above North Irvine.

The City of Irvine Animal Care Center invites the community to attend the 17th annual Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Fair Sunday, December 10, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. The fair features hundreds of adoptable animals from regional pet rescue groups and animal shelters, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals. This yearly event serves as a platform to foster community engagement with animals in need of loving homes and provides valuable pet care resources.
