Farrah N. Khan was sworn in for a second term as the City of Irvine’s Mayor, and newly elected Councilmembers Larry Agran and Kathleen Treseder were sworn into office yesterday in front of a capacity audience during the City Council meeting at the Council Chamber.

Mayor Khan was sworn in for a 2-year term, while Councilmembers Agran and Treseder will both serve a 4-year term of service. Additionally, Tammy Kim was selected as Vice Mayor. 

Irvine, Calif. (December 13, 2022) – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) responded to assist the University of California, Irvine Police Department (UCIPD) with a death investigation.

The City of Irvine received a 2022 Digital Cities Survey award from the Center for Digital Government, a national research and advisory institute focused on technology policy and best practices in state and local government.

This is the second consecutive year the City of Irvine has received this prestigious award, and the only Orange County municipality to receive this recognition.

City of Irvine Senior Services is seeking Meals on Wheels volunteers to deliver hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors in our community. Volunteers assist older adults in maintaining their independence by providing healthy, delicious meals to those who might otherwise be unable to prepare food for themselves.
