City of Irvine Expands Weekly Vaccination Appointments and Adds Two Sites

The City of Irvine is expanding its partnership with testing provider Covid Clinic. Vaccination sites at Great Park and Irvine Civic Center will be expanding to provide more vaccine appointments to the community. Additionally, vaccinations will be available beginning March 7 at existing Covid Clinic testing sites at Quail Hill Community Park and Trabuco Senior Center.

Youth Cricket Pitch Opening at Cypress Community Park in Irvine

The City of Irvine is excited to announce the first designated youth cricket pitch in Irvine will open Sunday, March 13, at Cypress Community Park. Construction began in January 2022, and the official opening will be celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. on opening day, Sunday, March 13.

Monthlong Foster Donation Drive Supports Young Pets at Irvine Animal Care Center

The Irvine Animal Care Center invites the community to support its Foster Donation Drive, March 1–31. Support the center’s new puppies and kittens, post-surgery animals, and animals healing from an injury by donating supplies such as formula, mother and baby cat food, and toys.

City of Irvine Lights Clock Tower in Solidarity with Ukraine

The City of Irvine joins cities across the country in lighting City Hall in blue and yellow in solidarity with Ukraine. This simple but meaningful gesture is one way Irvine is showing support to the Ukrainian community.

The clock tower lights will be active beginning at dusk on February 28. The lights will remain blue and yellow as long as the war continues in Ukraine.
