The City of Irvine is seeking feedback to assist in planning the Oak Creek Community Park Project. The City has launched two online surveys, to gather input on potential community park and dog park amenities.

Irvine Launches 3rd District Small Business Support Program

The City of Irvine received $722,000 from the County of Orange to assist small businesses effected by COVID-19 within the Irvine portion of Orange County’s Third Supervisorial District. One-time grants up to $5,000 are available to eligible small businesses to help cover the costs of business interruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and related Stay-At-Home Orders.

Irvine Police Department Investigating Fatal Traffic Collision

An 18-year-old male motorcyclist has died from his injuries after colliding with a vehicle.

This morning at approximately 8:15 a.m., the Irvine Police Department (IPD) and Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) responded to a reported traffic collision involving a motorcyclist and a vehicle. The collision occurred near the intersection of Walnut and Kazan.

The motorcyclist, a resident of Orange, was transported to OC Global Hospital and was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival. The decedent was identified as Garrett Ryder Wade, a student at Concordia University.
