As our needs to support our community during the COVID-19 crisis rise, the Boys and Girls Club of Irvine is gearing up to provide childcare services to our first responders and healthcare workers.

With the help of HOAG and CHOC, they have come up with a plan to provide the services while practicing physical distancing and keeping a sanitized environment.

In order to help them succeed in helping our first responders/healthcare workers in their time of need, we are asking the community to help us by donating the following items:

Irvine Disaster Council Requires Retail Personnel and Patrons to Wear Face Coverings

Irvine City Manager John Russo, in his capacity as Director of Emergency Services, released an Executive Order requiring all retail personnel and retail patrons in the City of Irvine to wear face coverings.

Effective Wednesday, April 8, 2020, the Order states that essential businesses within the City that provide sales of retail goods and/or food and/or banking services, and remain in operation during this time, shall require their employees to wear face coverings such as scarves, bandanas, neck gaiters, or other fabric face coverings.
