The City of Irvine, with financial support from the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (Open in new window), recently purchased a street sweeper powered by compressed natural gas demonstrating the City of Irvine’s continued commitment to clean transportation as well as compliance with the South Coast Air Quality Management District requirements for the use of alternative fuel heavy-duty vehicles.
