Vote Centers: Special Municipal Election — Council District 5

On Tuesday, April 15, registered voters in Council District 5 will have the opportunity to vote for a councilmember to represent their district through the end of 2026.  

The Irvine Civic Center, 1 Civic Center Plaza, will serve as a Vote Center beginning April 5. A second Vote Center will open at University Community Center, 1 Beech Tree Lane, April 12. 

Vote Center Hours 

April 5–11: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. (Irvine City Hall only) 

April 12–14: 8 a.m.–8 p.m. (both locations)

Fair Housing Foundation Workshop

The City of Irvine and the Fair Housing Foundation will host a free Fair Housing Workshop Thursday, February 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Irvine City Hall.  

The Fair Housing Foundation will share information including: 

New statewide laws
Federal and state fair housing laws
Housing discrimination 
Evictions process 
Rent increases 
Security deposits 
Habitability and repairs

City of Irvine Plants Series of Heritage Trees at the Great Park

The City of Irvine reaffirmed its commitment to a greener future today as it planted coast live oak trees at the Great Park, with more to come as development continues.
