The City of Irvine invites the community to attend the swearing-in ceremony for Councilmember-elect Betty Martinez Franco Tuesday, May 13, at the Irvine City Hall Council Chamber.

Please note: The City is making improvements to the Civic Center Parking Lot, significantly impacting parking availability and eliminating access to the EV chargers located along the San Diego Creek Trail. For your convenience, additional parking is available off of Harvard Avenue and San Juan, with shuttle service to the Civic Center provided.

Irvine residents can receive up to three pre-packaged bags (20 pounds per bag) of free compost. Compost will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event is supported by Tierra Verde Industries and Orange County Waste and Recycling.

The project will focus on replacing outdated equipment, adding new features, and preserving the park’s unique castle-themed charm.
