Join the City of Irvine for the Mid-Autumn Festival Tuesday, September, 21, 6-9 p.m. at Great Park. Pay tribute to the City of Irvine's 50th anniversary of incorporation by celebrating good fortune with friends, family, and our community under a full moon on the Great Park Balloon Lawn.

This traditional celebration will feature live music, moon cakes, food trucks, tea, and family-friendly crafts. All ages are welcome, and no RSVP is needed for this free event.

The City of Irvine is honoring longtime City photographer David Kawashima with an art exhibition of his photographs at the Irvine Civic Center. The David Kawashima: Capturing Community exhibition, part of the ongoing Art at City Hall series, opened September 16, with a free reception open to the public held from 5 to 7 p.m.

Start your journey in Community Services by joining us at the Part-Time Job Fair Saturday, September 18 at the Irvine Civic Center Piazza. Learn about opportunities, apply for positions, and interview all in the same day for roles including: parks and community centers, aquatics, arts, athletics, child services and middle school programs, facilities, senior and disability services, and animal care. Interviews will be held from noon to 4 p.m.

National Preparedness Month: Emergency Go Bag

September is National Preparedness Month, but emergencies can strike anywhere and anytime. It is important to prepare emergency supply kits for your home, work, and vehicles. 

Prepare and pack your go bag or emergency kit in a backpack, storage bin, or duffel bag, and remember to always keep your go bag accessible and easily transportable for anyone in the household.
