The City of Irvine is accepting applications to fill two member-at-large vacancies on its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. The Committee is committed to ensuring that every person living and working in the community is treated with fairness and has access to equitable services and opportunities.

Applicants shall reside or work in the City of Irvine. At-Large members will serve two-year terms with Committee meetings every month on the fourth Thursday at 5 p.m. Due to COVID-19, meetings will take place virtually until further notice.

Help support the single Marines, single parents, and geographic bachelors of Irvine’s adopted 2/11 Marine Battalion by donating bedding for their barracks. The 2/11 Marine Battalion is seeking new, unused twin sheet sets, twin blankets, and pillow cases.

Great Park announces the opening of its latest art exhibition at the Great Park Gallery: 52nd Street: Jazz and the Photography of William Gottlieb. The exhibition runs Sunday, January 30–Sunday, May 1, and will be accompanied by Jammin’ in the Palm Court, a three-part live jazz series. An opening reception for the exhibition will be held Sunday, January 30, 1–3 p.m. The exhibition, opening, live performances, and parking are free and open to the public.
