Quail Hill Community Center Opens to Public on March 4

The public is invited to a dedication ceremony celebrating the opening of the Quail Hill Community Center from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, March 4. Join City of Irvine officials for self-guided tours of the brand new community center, which features spaces for art, dance, fitness and educational programs. A photography exhibit featuring the City of Irvine 45th Anniversary Photo contest entries will also be on display.

A special Community Meeting on the future of the Orange County Great Park will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, at the Lakeview Senior Center. City of Irvine staff, as part of ongoing public outreach, will provide a region-wide update on the nation’s largest parkland project of 688 acres including the 194-acre Sports Park; the state’s largest Community Ice Facility; and ask those who attend to provide input about still-to-be-built segments of the Great Park. Play a role as attendees from Irvine and South County affirm what is planned and imagine what is to come.
