Irvine Police Department to Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint

IRVINE, CA – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) will conduct a sobriety checkpoint as part of the Department’s continued commitment to reducing injury and deaths caused by impaired drivers. The checkpoint will be conducted tomorrow, Friday, April 22, 2016, from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. in the area of MacArthur Boulevard and Douglas.

Three Arrested in Stolen Vehicle for Drugs and Mail Theft

Irvine, CA – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) has arrested three suspects for drug and mail-theft charges after receiving a tip of suspicious activity from an observant citizen. The suspects are identified as Biancha Martinez, 24, of Riverside, Dustin Robinson, 25, of Riverside, and Christopher Walker, 26, of Perris. Walker and Robinson are both on probation.
