Irvine Police Investigating a Fatal Traffic Collision

IRVINE, Calif. (July 22, 2023) – An 87-year-old female pedestrian has died after being involved in a collision with a vehicle.

Last evening, around 7:45 p.m., the Irvine Police Department (IPD) responded to reports of a traffic collision at the intersection of Irvine Boulevard and Marketplace. Our partners at the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) responded to assist.

'Art at City Hall' Exhibition 'Deep Water/Deep Earth' Opens August 7

The City of Irvine is pleased to announce a new Art at City Hall exhibition series, Deep Water/Deep Earth, which translates the enormous and complex water channels underground in Irvine into a body of collages, prints, and programmed digital artwork. Deep Water/Deep Earth opens Monday, August 7, and concludes Wednesday, November 22. An opening reception will be held Thursday, August 10, 2–4 p.m., at Irvine City Hall.
