The community is invited to a free event on Sunday, Sept. 16, with a new starting time at 10 a.m. and an official opening ceremony at 1 p.m., to officially open the new baseball stadium at the Orange County Great Park. Free parking.

Travel the world at the 17th annual Irvine Global Village Festival on Saturday, Sept. 22, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. This all-day event — now at the Orange County Great Park — features more than 100 performances representing cultures from around the world; international cuisine; kids’ crafts and activities; cultural and religious exhibits; and an international marketplace. 

Festival admission and on-site parking are free. A variety of sample-sized servings of food will be available for purchase, with prices ranging from $2 to $5; please bring cash.

The Orange County Great Park announces the opening of its latest art exhibition, Nature/In Forms. The exhibit runs Sunday, Sept. 2–Sunday, Nov. 11, with an exhibition opening Sunday, Sept. 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. Exhibit, opening, and parking are free and open to the public.
