City of Irvine Residential Rehabilitation Program Offers Residents Financial Assistance for Critical Repairs

Irvine homeowners who need to make critical repairs to their homes may qualify to receive financial assistance up to $25,000 through the City of Irvine’s Residential Rehabilitation Program. The Program offers three percent interest-deferred loans and emergency grants to assist low income homeowners with health and safety, building code, and accessibility related repairs.

Marianna Marysheva Hired as Irvine Assistant City Manager

Longtime municipal executive Marianna Marysheva has joined the City of Irvine as Assistant City Manager.

Marysheva began work on July 27; she was hired by new City Manager John Russo.

“Irvine is fortunate to be able to retain Ms. Marysheva,” said Russo. “She has a great deal of experience in many areas of city governance, but she is exceptionally skilled in municipal finance. Her commitment to fiscal discipline is backed up by very strong problem-solving skills, and she is adept at finding long-term solutions in the face of competing priorities.”

County Assessor’s latest numbers place the City’s total at 9.43% for year

 

Irvine property values have soared in the past year, leading all other Orange County cities in percent increase at 9.43%, according to the Office of the Assessor’s preliminary assessments for 2018-19.

Irvine Police Department to Host Three National Night Out Events

Irvine Mayor Wagner Signs Letter to California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) that Follows Voter Direction on the Strawberry Fields Site
