Irvine Animal Care Center Waives Adoption Fees for Veterans Memorial Day Weekend

In honor of Memorial Day, Irvine Animal Care Center is waiving adoption fees for veterans Friday, May 25, through Sunday, May 27. The program is made possible through the Animals for Armed Forces Foundation, which is covering adoption fees for the veterans.

Help support Marines and sailors of the City of Irvine's adopted Marine battalion from Camp Pendleton at the Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee Car Wash on June 2, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Lakeview Senior Center parking lot.

The Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee accepts donations to help underwrite the cost of supporting Marines and their families, and to provide them care packages and monetary support.

Irvine Fine Arts Center Presents 24th Annual Studio Arts Festival

The 24th annual Studio Arts Festival will be held Saturday, June 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Irvine Fine Arts Center. The juried festival will feature handmade artwork from more than 100 Southern California artists. Original works of art in ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, painting, photography, fiber and glass will be for sale.
