Memorial Day Ceremony

The City of Irvine will host its annual Memorial Day Ceremony in the Formal Garden. Attendees will have the opportunity to memorialize our troops’ sacrifice by writing down a brief remembrance to be posted on a memory board at the event. Cards will also be available for well-wishers to send a message of appreciation and support to members of Irvine’s adopted 2/11 Marine Battalion. Visit our website for more information. 

Northwood Gratitude and Honor Memorial Day Ceremony

Memorial Day is a time of remembrance, when Americans honor those who have given their lives while defending our nation. On Sunday, May 29 at 4 p.m., a special Candle-lighting Ceremony will be held at the Northwood Gratitude and Honor Memorial. The ceremony, presented in partnership with the City of Irvine and the Northwood Memorial Committee, will include presentations by Gold Star families.
