Great Park Gallery Art Exhibition Expands with Musical Performances and Additional Installation in Artist Studios

Building on the recently opened Great Park Gallery art exhibition Phillip K. Smith III: Shared Light, the City of Irvine announces an expanded experience with music and art installations. The two-part live classical music series will happen June 25 and July 23, and the expanded exhibition is open now in the Artist Studios. The exhibition, live performances, and parking are free and open to the public.

Celebrate Summer with Movies on the Lawn at Great Park

Join the City of Irvine this summer for the return of Movies on the Lawn, a series of family-friendly outdoor screenings at Great Park. The series kicks off Saturday, June 18, and continues various Saturday evenings through August 13.

Movies begin after sunset, at approximately 8:15 p.m. Bring a blanket or low-back chair to enjoy the movie with your friends and family. Food will be available for purchase from on-site gourmet food trucks. Open seating on the Terraced Lawn will be first-come, first-served for the entire community, and admission is free.

The City of Irvine seeks to define community transportation needs beyond existing iShuttle and bus routes located within the City. 

A virtual community meeting will be held Monday, June 13, at 6 p.m., to discuss transportation options and present the findings from initial concept studies that seek to improve parking conditions and transit services, relieve parking and traffic congestion, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
