The City of Irvine has made the Orange County Register’s list of Top Workplaces for 2021 in their 14th Annual Top Workplaces Awards and magazine publication.
Partnering with Energage, a Philadelphia-based workplace survey and employer-relations company, the Orange County Register welcomed any employer with at least 25 employees in Orange County to participate in a scientific survey process to determine the top workplaces in our area.

Khan, along with representatives from local business, education, and government, launched an Innovation Council to secure the City of Irvine’s position as a technology and innovation hub. Among the representatives joining Mayor Khan at the press conference were Abhi Mukherjee, Operating Partner, CerraCap Ventures; Errol Arkilic, Executive Director and Chief Innovative Officer, UCI Beall Applied Innovation; Bryan Starr, President and CEO, Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce; and Joe Kiani, Founder, Chairman, and CEO, Masimo.
