Join your neighbors and the Irvine Police Department at the annual National Night Out celebration. Once again, IPD will host festivities at three locations throughout the City.
This free event features police vehicles and fire engines, appearances by the Mounted, SWAT, and K9 Units, Drone Team demonstrations, crime prevention tips, face painting and other activities for kids.

Grab a snack on a warm summer night from food trucks that will have items available for purchase. Plus, kids get a free IPD police fidget toy while supplies last.

City of Irvine Offering Vaccines for Teens

The City of Irvine is offering a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for teens Friday, August 13, 5:30–7 p.m., at Heritage Park Community Center. Help your kids ages 12–17 stay healthy as they return to school, and get them vaccinated at this convenient neighborhood location before summer ends.

Controlled Explosives Disposal to Take Place at the Frank R. Bowerman Landfill

The OC Sheriff Department's Hazardous Devices Section (HDS) will conduct a controlled disposal of 60 pounds of explosive materials at the Frank R. Bowerman Landfill in Irvine, Wednesday, June 8. Residents or those in the area may hear loud explosive noises from approximately 10-11 a.m. during this process. Irvine PD and the Orange County Sheriff's Department will be updating their respective social media pages with this information.
