City of Irvine to Launch Mask Giveaway to Fight COVID-19

The City of Irvine will distribute face masks received through the recent generous donation from FivePoint Holdings, LLC to community members in an effort to stem the tide of COVID-19 and safeguard Irvine residents and workers including first responders.

The disposable face masks will be provided to the community as part of the City’s overall COVID-19 response efforts, beginning with the Mayor’s Mask Giveaway. This drive-up distribution event on Saturday, August 8 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Irvine Civic Center, will provide each car with one free box of 50 disposable masks.

Facility Reservations for 2021 to Open in August 2020

The City of Irvine, Community Services Department is responsible for managing the Facility Reservation process, and reservations are accepted and processed on a calendar-year basis.  The following information is to provide notice that the City will begin accepting 2021 facility reservation applications in August 2020, with dates determined by the City's Community Facilities Reservation Policy.
