Two Suspects Arrested for Counterfeit $100 Bill Scam

*Seeking public’s help identifying third suspect in related cases

Irvine, CA – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) arrested two suspects for using counterfeit $100 bills to steal from local small businesses. The suspects are identified as Dyimond Campbell, 22, of Los Angeles and Niresha Collins, 27, of Inglewood. They were arrested for commercial burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime, and making/passing fictitious currency.

Irvine Police Department to Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint

IRVINE, CA – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) will conduct a sobriety checkpoint as part of the Department’s continued commitment to reducing injury and deaths caused by impaired drivers. The checkpoint will be conducted tomorrow, Friday, June 24, 2016, from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. in the area of Bake Parkway and Rockfield Boulevard.
