Construction Updates
Construction of the Jamboree & Michelson Pedestrian Bridge is well underway. Following the completion of key utility relocations, construction of the elevator towers is progressing and is expected to continue through 2026. Work will continue on both elevator towers, as well as off-site activities that will include the fabrication and procurement of key bridge components. Overall project completion is anticipated in spring 2028.
The following lane closures will continue to support construction activities, as part of the Jamboree & Michelson Pedestrian Bridge project:
- Southbound Jamboree Road to westbound Michelson Drive dedicated right-turn lane
- Westbound Michelson Drive to northbound Jamboree Road dedicated right-turn lane
Right turns can still be made from the far-right lanes on southbound Jamboree Road and westbound Michelson Drive.
Access to area residences and businesses will be maintained while construction is underway.
