Irvine Ranch Conservancy Guided Hikes
Guided hikes of Quail Hill, led by Irvine Ranch Conservancy, will be offered at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Registration is required on-site, with limited space available.

Swing by the Great Park, Parking Lot 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, and receive up to three free bags of compost (20 pounds per bag) provided by Tierra Verde Industries. Volunteers will be on-site to place the compost bags in your car at the front-entrance parking area.

Free 2024 Tax Preparation Services Available in Irvine

The City of Irvine, in partnership with Orange County United Way, is offering free tax preparation services to taxpayers who earned less than $60,000 in 2023. Qualifying taxpayers who live, work, or attend school in Irvine can receive help filing taxes from IRS-trained and certified volunteers, who will also assist eligible taxpayers in applying for tax credits, including the state and federal Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC).

The City of Irvine and UCI Health to host Blood Drive at the Irvine Civic Center

In an effort to address the growing blood supply crisis in Orange County, the City of Irvine and UCI Health are partnering together to host a blood drive event Wednesday, February 21, 9 a.m.–3 p.m., at the Irvine Civic Center. Donations received will help provide critical care for patients at UCI Medical Center.

Fatal Motorcycle Traffic Collision

Irvine, Calif. (February 1, 2024) – A man has died, and another man is in critical condition after being involved in a solo motorcycle collision.

Today, at 2:21 a.m., the Irvine Police Department (IPD) received reports of a motorcycle collision in the area of Shady Canyon Drive and Quail Hill Parkway. IPD units and the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) responded to the scene.
