The City of Irvine is participating in the second annual Irvine Tech Week April 16–21, bringing entrepreneurs, investors, accelerators, and thought leaders together to learn, network, and expand the local Irvine startup community. 

A 5K Fun Run and 3K FirstGen Color Run will take place Saturday, April 20, at Mike Ward Community Park — Woodbridge from 8 to 10 a.m. 

Irvine Tech Week Wrap Party

The City of Irvine is participating in the second annual Irvine Tech Week April 16–21, bringing entrepreneurs, investors, accelerators, and thought leaders together to learn, network, and expand the local Irvine startup community. 

The week of events concludes with a final celebration, a Wrap Party, Sunday, April 21, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Great Park. 

Irvine Tech Week Resource Fair and Kickoff Event

The City of Irvine is participating in the second annual Irvine Tech Week April 16–21, bringing entrepreneurs, investors, accelerators, and thought leaders together to learn, network, and expand the local Irvine startup community. 

A Startup Resource Fair and Kickoff Event will be held at the Irvine Civic Center Tuesday, April 16. The resource fair begins at 4 p.m., followed by the kickoff event at 6 p.m. 

Urban Forest Master Plan Survey

The City of Irvine wants your input on its urban forest. An urban forest is made up of all the trees in the City, including those that grow on private property, including commercial properties, and public property like streets, parks, and medians.

Irvine is developing a 30-year Urban Forest Master Plan (UFMP) to guide the City's efforts to create a more sustainable urban forest.

Calling all monsters! Dress in your spooky-best and join us at the pool to celebrate Halloween! In addition to trick-or-treating around the pool decks, we’ll have a floating pumpkin patch and decorating station. Take some photos with our spooky friends before changing to swim in the enchanted lagoon. Feeling brave for a chilling challenge? We're dying for you to take a plunge into deep water and walk through the frightening inflatable obstacle course. Work up an appetite in the bounce houses before you purchase a ghoulish snack from the spooky smorgasbord. Come partake in the fun!

Super Swim Lesson 2024

Kick off summer in the pool with the Irvine Super Swim lesson. Adults and children of all swimming abilities are invited to participate in Irvine's largest group swim lesson in an effort to raise awareness for drowning prevention. 

Arrive at 5:30 p.m. for check-in with lessons starting at 6 p.m., then stay for recreation swim that includes a water slide, giant inflatable, diving boards, and activities. At dusk, Encanto plays on the big screen. Lifeguards will be on duty.

Ages 3 and older; children age 6 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. 

Irvine Community Alliance Fund Now Accepting Applications for Board of Directors

The City of Irvine is accepting applications for vacant board member positions on the Irvine Community Alliance Fund (ICAF) Board. ICAF, comprised of between seven and nine board members, is a nonprofit organization created to financially support the programs and services offered through the City of Irvine Community Services Department.

Applicants must be willing to commit to a two-year term of active service. ICAF Board meetings are usually held once per year in late summer. Additional special meetings may be called during the year.
